To get to this viewpoint you have to follow a short, narrow path that runs over a rocky outcropping. From the outside it gives the impression that it is floating above the void, giving it the appearance of a landscape from a fantasy film. The panorama is spectacular.

Beautiful views all round! To reach this place, take the bus to Rifugio Auronzo either from Misurina near Camping Alla Baita or from the main city in the Dolomites, Cortina d’Ampezzo. You can reach the refuge by car, but I recommend coming early in the morning and reach the parking lot by 8:00 am, otherwise, parking spots will fill up fast. The hike from the Rifugio Auronzo parking lot is 40-45 minutes long, with short steep climbs and narrow paths right by the cliffs. The T2 trail towards Cadini di Misurina is not hard, it can be done by kids, but shouldn’t be done by younger kids less than 10 years old. When you reach the beautiful viewpoint of

Cadini di Misurina, you might have to wait in a queue for a while. However this isn’t a problem if you come early. I’ve hiked here at 9-10 am in August, the peak season for hiking in Dolomites and there were some couples who were waiting for their turn to go on the exceptional path which you can see in pictures. If you come in the afternoon, or sunset, you won’t be lucky enough and have to wait an hour in the queue.

If there's a long queue, just walk past the line to the right. There is a small path along the mountain-wall wich leads 50 meters further to a similar spot. With the difference that there's alot less people.
