This group of bronze sculptures by Guido Messer has stood in front of the Backnang town hall since 1987.

In 2011, the thieves were stolen by metal thieves. A claqueur was found at a scrap dealer. The other two were topped up by Guido Messer and since 2012 the three gentlemen have been standing without a lower body, applauding with closed eyes again in front of the town hall.
