The so-called robber's cave is located on the right steep slope of the Maubach. It shows the karstification of the lower Maubach catchment area. On the slopes to the edge of the Maubach there are numerous sinkholes due to karstification, some of which are grouped into rows of sinkholes.
It is not entirely safe to enter the cave, as the stones above are sometimes very loose.

Räuberhöhle is well hidden on a mountain slope. A stream (Maubach) flows under the cave and in front of it is a beautiful meadow. Young people and children like to spend their free time there. You can also grill on the banks of the stream. Access to the robber cave is not permitted. Stones can fly down and seriously injure or kill. Access is very steep.
