An absolute dream pass. Coming from the Tegernsee, the ascent is so gentle that you hardly notice anything and you can still make good speed. On the other side there is a rapid descent towards Sylvenstein, or even more mountains towards Archensee. Driving up here is really fun and not a torture.

Driving up from Tegernsee without torment, as the ascent is long but pleasantly low. You will be rewarded with a fast, winding descent towards the Sylvenstein reservoir.
Nevertheless, the route should be avoided on nice, free days - it's an absolute car hell with a lot of traffic and no bike paths - that's not much fun :(
