Before the Battle of Arnhem, the 'Tafelberg' served as a home for retired missionaries. After the war, the building was used by American fathers until the end of 1998. After this, the building was demolished and only the facade, the hall and the floor remained. Blood spatter from Allied forces can still be found in the building. There is also an embroidery with the subject of the 10th Battalion.
