Update: For its 100th birthday, the footbridge was renovated and reopened for pedestrians in March 2026 after 10 months of construction.
A further bridge is planned for cyclists nearby. In the northern extension of the Da-Vinci-Brücke, opened in 2026, near the new railway town. Construction start from 2029.
