Beautiful picture of nature as it used to be.

Spectacular rock formation just a 5 minute walk southeast from the car park (keep left). Like the Beilstein castle ruins, the skull and crossbones is a natural monument. The excursion to the Totenköpfchen can be easily combined with a hike to the Beilstein castle ruins (3 km in total). Both natural monuments are very easy to reach with a pram and the castle ruins are already in sight on the last climb to the castle.

A rock that is not expected here. Daniel Häberle gave it the name Totenköpfchen.
