The chapel of St. George was built at the beginning of the 15th century by the villagers in white made of pebbles, field and bricks. From a document of 1433 shows that they informed the officiating archbishop only after the construction. In the following centuries, the whites not only financed necessary repairs to the chapel, they also provided for the salary of a priest. The chapel, built in 1821, became a parish church in 1920; At that time she received an extension. Burned out in 1944, the chapel was rebuilt in 1965.
After extensive renovation by volunteer craftsmen and craftsmen in the 1980s, local artists painted and decorated the chapel at the end of the last century.
The guided tours are designed by the architects Hansjosef and Martin Schäfer and the carpenters Ralf Horstkemper and Wilhelm Jaeger. Meeting point is at the chapel.
