Lillemølle is one of the best preserved watermills in Denmark and is a listed building. It is located in the middle of the forest on the Ørbæk Å river south of Nyborg and can be easily reached by bike. Two functioning water wheels drive the mill. Built in 1672, it was destroyed by flames in 1827. The three-wing half-timbered building "Møllegård" was built later. Until 1900 the mill belonged to the Holckenhavn manor. Between 1970 and 1980 the mill was restored by the mill expert Anders Jespersen. The current owners bought Lillemølle in 2008. They have put the building in good condition. The mill can be visited by appointment, and overnight stays are also possible. See also lillemøllen.dk
