"Height: 35 m, trunk diameter at breast height: 110 cm, results in a volume of over 13 cubic meters!" - Source (quoted verbatim): information board of the local forestry officeIt is around 250 years old and probably the oldest pine tree in the Palatinate Forest. It has twisted growth, i. H. the trunk twists like a spiral in the upper part and thus has a greatly increased strength (compared to straight-growing tree trunks).
