The striking Bronze Age burial mounds (1500-1100 BC) are among the most important burial mounds in Germany. On the first section of the hike along the Ellemosesti trail, the mounds can serve as landmarks. The first mound, called Hyrdehøj (Shepherd's Mound), is approximately 5.5 meters high, and you can walk across the fields to reach it.
