Here, landscape conservation compensation areas have been created south and north of the Eckbach for the construction of the new B 271 bypass federal road from Kirchheim/Wstr. and for the new Eckbachtal bridge. This bridge is 11 m high and 225 m long at this point (information from the State Office for Mobility). There are also 3 old white willows and a bench here.

NOTE: Only the southern part (i.e. the right bank of the Eckbach) of the renaturation area may be entered by people and dogs. The other area is protected. SOURCE: Information board on site
