    Hiking

The Cachat Spring is the most famous of Evian's many springs. It was built in 1903 and its water flows at a constant temperature of 11.6°C all year round.
This mineral water spring has given Évian its international reputation and is named after Gabriel Cachat, the owner of the garden where it flowed at the end of the 18th century, when the spring's therapeutic properties were discovered.
In addition to many tourists, you can also often find locals filling bottles of the good water.
