Glorup Palace was converted into a Renaissance palace from 1742 to 1743 under Christian Ludvig Scheel von Plessen. Just 20 years later, it was modernized under the new owner, Count Adam Gottlob von Moltke. For the employees of the estate, several houses in the English country house style were built in the surrounding area in the 1870s. A large palace garden, which is temporarily open to visitors, is attached to the representative four-wing building. Hans Christian Andersen was a frequent guest on Glorup.
