There used to be a legendary stone circle here that was popularly known as the "giant chair". In 1898 some of these sandstones were transported to Sarnau for house building. Only the largest stones, such as the “giant chair” or the “baking trough”, were perhaps left behind out of awe or superstition. The collection of stones is now commonly referred to as the "giant chair" - after the one that has the shape of an armchair.

This is a nice resting place and the legends that weave around it make the "chairs" appear more comfortable than they actually are.
