This section of the Chalk Ridge Extreme XC mountain biking route runs parallel to the famous Military Road, but much higher up on the hill, yielding amazing views of the chalky cliffs and Freshwater below.

There's usually some gorgeous cows grazing up here.

Take care as you go through the golf course if you're descending towards Freshwater. Four!

Great views as you cruise towards Freshwater Bay, if your being ruined by the wind take the bend to the right and nip out of the wind and past the club house... oh & be aware of your pedal position higher up as a few areas of the track are a bit deeper inset.
