View of the Hochfelln Summit Cross

At this point you have a perfect view of the Hochfelln summit cross. And of course also down to the Cheimsee :-)
The place can be reached via the summit circular path (geological educational trail). Unfortunately, at the time of my tour, all the teaching boards were dismantled.

The view from the chapel is a dream. In the central Alps to the Groß-Glockner or Groß-Venediger as well as to the Chiemsee you can forget any everyday stress.
People like to relax here and watch the spectacle of the jackdaws, who fly their laps here again and again in swarms or, sometimes very curious, come within a few meters of you.

From up here, no matter where you look, you always have a great view with "postcard character"
