Among the slopes and chestnut groves of Etna. A visit to the volcano by bike is a must for a passionate biker. It took me decades to decide, partly out of fear, partly because I was far away. At 71, I finally did it a couple of times, both from the sea and starting up the hill from Pedara. You need good training, a short relationship, a little humility. No rush...
