Very nice, about 4km long bike path off the road. Top!
Attention - traffic crosses several times!

Prima developed bike path, which is also used by pedestrians, but ideal for racing bikes. 😏

The railway line Biederitz-Magdeburg-Buckau was a single-track, non-electrified railway line in today's Saxony-Anhalt. It went into operation in 1846/47 as part of the Berlin-Magdeburg railway line. After their relocation in 1873, the old route was further used for freight transport and thereby incorporated into the stations in Biederitz and Magdeburg-Buckau. Above all, it had military significance and is colloquially referred to as a canon train. For a short time there was also passenger traffic in the 1950s and 1960s. In the 1990s, the route was shut down. With the Magdeburg lifting bridge, the bridge over the Alte Elbe and the railway flood bridge over the Ehle, several bridge structures along the route are under monument protection.
