Characteristics:
The Schmugglersteig to the Gargellner Köpfe offers everything passionate via ferrata climbers desire: excitement, a harmonious route, breathtaking views, a short approach, and plenty of mountain adventures! The standard version, with difficulty level C, offers sufficient challenges for those via ferrata enthusiasts who want to climb the wall with a relatively low level of stress. The more challenging version, with difficulty levels C/D, is accessed via two 19 and 23 m long rope bridges. After that, the approximately 20-meter-high, slightly overhanging wall demands your full attention and considerable muscle strength. Those who have mastered this crux of the climb will be rewarded with a stunning view from the ridge below. Summiteers now have to conquer the approximately 12-meter-high vertical crystal wall. The summit of the Gargellner Köpfe (Gargellner Köpfe) is the crowning achievement, offering a 360-degree view of the Silvretta, Rätikon, and Arlberg ranges.
