The Zeegser Loopje is one of the many streams (loops, deeps) that together form the Drentsche Aa. By the way, nowhere in Drenthe is the stream called Drentsche Aa. She always bears the name of the nearest town. Only when the river crosses the provincial border to Groningen is the name Drentsche Aa.
