The 'Oesterholzer Bruch with Schwedenschanze' is a nature reserve. The Sternhofbach provides with its water for a permanently moist soil. Good for flora and fauna, the old trees are ideal habitat for dormouse, bats and co. the 'Schwedenschanze' is a sand dune created by earlier drifts.
