The Piz Boè at 3152 meters is the highest mountain of the Sella Group. It is also considered the easiest to climb three-thousand meter peaks in the Dolomites and offers in addition to the somewhat need of getting used telephone reflector a wonderful view in all directions. Above all, the view of the Marmolada and its glacier is definitely worth a climb if visibility is good.

Since 1969, the Rifugio Capanna Piz Fassa, a small summer refuge with limited accommodation, is also located on the summit.

If you make the ascent to Piz Boe from the Franz Kostner Hut, you will avoid much of the tourist hustle and bustle and you can enjoy the view in peace.
