11/24/2019 - Up here a wonderful view over Eisenstadt to Lake Neusiedl and further into the country. There is also a leisurely walk in the forest with many teaching stations.

Not far from the Gloriette, the Jubilee Observatory opens wide views of Lake Neusiedl and beyond.

The former Eisenstädter Gloriettewarte was built in 1957 by the ÖTK (Austrian Tourist Club) near Eisenstadt's Parapluiewiese. After renovation of the observation tower no longer made sense, it was finally closed in 2011 for security reasons and subsequently demolished. The new observation tower was reopened on September 15, 2012 as part of a forest festival. The 16-meter-high, roofed Raiffeisen anniversary waiting room offers a wonderful panoramic view and can be reached via a staircase with several small intermediate staircases with window openings.
A sign in the immediate vicinity indicates that the Gloriettewarte was built by the Austrian Tourist Club - Eisenstadt Section in 1957 and that the observatory is 351 meters above sea level.
