The Kassel House - named after the former provincial capital of the Electorate of Hessen / Cassel - was built in 1790/91 in a half-timbered house and served as a lodging house with 23 rooms.
Today, the Haus Kassel - in addition to the tourist information and the new drinking fountain - has modern conference rooms with all the technical requirements for successful meetings.

Hiking

Haus Kassel was completed in 1791 as the first catering establishment. It served as a dining restaurant and hotel. A boutique building was added to the southwest side of the house at the end of the 19th century, which was demolished in 1911. On the other side of the building was a coffee hall that was remodeled in the 1920s.
In addition to accommodation and a reading room for guests, there is a tourist information office here.
