Mountain biking
Today only parts of the moat and the gatehouse from 1651 are preserved. The gatehouse reveals the design of red brick and yellow sandstone reveals of the windows, which is often found in the Münsterland.
The von Galen family had owned the castle since the 16th century, and the Münster prince-bishop Christoph Bernhard von Galen was born there.
