Franz Marc Museum

The Franz Marc Museum in Kochel am See has been dedicated to the work of Franz Marc since its founding in 1986. The extension, opened in 2008, offers new possibilities for the museum's concept.Franz Marc was an Expressionist and a member of the Blue Rider, a loose network of various artists of 20th-century modern art.

You should not only visit the museum if you come by! The pictures on the ground floor and first floor of the “Blauer Reiter” and “Brücke” are extremely pleasing. The 2nd floor usually provides space for special exhibitions that always surprise positively!
The museum is also not that big, so that you can give yourself enough time for every picture you are interested in ... without being completely overloaded after visiting only part of the museum.
