Hiking Highlight
The water rushes steadily down the rock face, pours into the rock-lined basin, and then makes its way down to the Walchensee - pure nature idyl. The Lainbachfall is really the perfect place to take in and enjoy the nature of the Bavarian Prealps in peace.

Beautiful in every season.
Impressive with the snowmelt.
Refreshing and cooling in the summer.

Ruins at the top are not prominent. The remains of some stone and brick walls. It is a very pretty valley and quiet.

On the slope it goes in some serpentines to Lainbach. You can already hear the waterfall.

Especially in the afternoon of the week, the way is worthwhile. It is not overcrowded and the sun lets the waterfall shine in good light. In winter, when it's frozen, the trail is a bit slipperier, but you should still try to get there.

If possible, enjoy it on a working day, as the path is very busy on weekends. Or bring some patience with you.

The path to the waterfall is quite easy to walk and can be done by anyone. A nice place for a short rest.
