The roots of the manor house go back to the 14th century. In 1644 the property burned down and was rebuilt in Gothic style, later rebuilt in Baroque style. Jordberga has an English style castle park from the mid-19th century. In the castle park there is also a rune stone from the Viking Age, the stone from Källstorp. The classic film The Smile on a Summer Night by Ingmar Bergman from 1955 was partly shot in the castle. The castle can be booked for events such as weddings or conferences.
