From this spot (on a bridge over the water), you have a beautiful view of Westhove Castle. This castle dates back to the 13th century. But not much remains of the medieval castle, with its outer bailey and main building, moats, ramparts, bridges, gates, and towers—in fact, only the lower parts of a few towers and a few sections of the walls. The castle has been renovated so often that little of the original remains.
