After the Second World War, the factory location increasingly became a school location. The engineering school of the GDR leather industry (officially the engineering school for leather processing technology), which existed here from 1958 to 1991, had the greatest significance also nationwide. Today the extensive area is part of the vocational schools of the Burgenland district with several school types.
