Tips
Veliki Zavižan is the best-known peak in the Northern Velebit National Park. Its 5,499-foot (1,676 m) summit provides exceptional views across the massif, as well as out towards the Adriatic islands of Pag, Goli otok, Sveti Grgur, Prvić and Krk. To the north, below its summit slopes, is the Velebit Botanical Garden, which is home to hundreds of plant species.

Probable view of Rab, part of Pag, Goli otok, Sveti Grgur, Prvić and Krk. At the top you can also find a wonderful Runolist! This peak should definitely be visited if you are nearby. The climb to the top is technically undemanding.
