Description:
The local artist Robert Enders has particularly distinguished himself in the "art in public space". In the middle of the Mühlenhof Park, two hands carved by him in granite quarder have stood since 1964 as a memorial against the war. The left, distorted hand is intended to illustrate the horrors of war, the right, stretched out towards the sky, serves as a warning. There are four plaques in the lawn, on which the following years of past wars are engraved:
