The mill was built in an open field in 1851 and was still in commercial operation as a mixed feed mill until 1987. The grinding and conveyor technology is completely available and restored in 2019-2023. In Labbus, the mill-typical operating processes and the development of the technology over a period of more than 100 years up to the 1960s can be illustrated very well with the technology running.
