In 1830 Friedrich Wilhelm III. the union of Lutherans and Reformed in Prussia was enforced. This corresponded to a "forced union". In Jabel, however, the later publicly recognized Old Lutheran Church was given building land. The parish had it built with a church, rectory and outbuildings until 1851.
