There is a large hiking car park here at the bridge. The path across the meadows to Withypool was a disaster to walk today, even in the best weather. It might have been better in rubber boots. Mudder, scrub and swamp for a few miles was no fun!
The bridge itself is very beautiful, several families used the space for a picnic and swimming, it looked like a lot of fun!
