The castle garden, with an area of approx. 15,382 m², impresses with its picturesque old and species-rich trees such as copper beech, single-leaf ash, sequoia, tulip tree and the natural spectacle of light and shadow. The “park” was originally planned and laid out as a manor garden between 1820 and 1830 by Baron Georg von Nordeck zur Rabenau and his rent master Engel.

Londorf Castle Garden was originally laid out in the years 1820 to 1830 as a mansion garden by Baron Georg von Nordeck zur Rabenau and his rentmaster Engel.
The pavilion brewed in 1842 is particularly eye-catching. The poet Rainer Maria Rilke stayed here in the summer of 1905 and found inspiration in the fountain that still exists today and the sundial, which was rebuilt in 2012.
