Photos of the Bridge over the Tajuña River, sometimes erroneously dated as Roman or medieval, its construction is due to the initiative of the second lord of the town, Don Julio César Escazuola y Juzén, probably to replace a wooden bridge that must have to be in this place. The works, which began in May 1637, were directed by the master stonemason Juan de la Torre and had to be completed in a few months since its utilitarian nature, then an obligatory passage on the road to Valencia, required it.
