The Linard Hut (Chamanna dal Linard) is located at an altitude of 2,327 meters, offering panoramic views high above the Inn Valley. Rebuilt in 1995 in a traditional style, the hut has retained its original mountain hut charm. During the summer, from July to mid-September, it is staffed by two other volunteer SAC members for a full week (Sunday to Sunday), and then from mid-September to the third week of October, it is staffed for three days, Friday to Sunday. The hut hosts at the Chamanna dal Linard were not only welcoming but also incredibly flexible: On the day I climbed Piz Linard, breakfast was served from 5:30 a.m. While the darkness outside slowly gave way to the first light, the aroma of coffee was already wafting inside, and the atmosphere was full of anticipation for the alpine tour.

The hut offers traditional cuisine prepared on an old wood-fired stove, as well as regionally sourced Engadin specialties such as nut cake, sausages, bacon, and cheese.

The hut offers 34 beds in small, traditionally furnished SAC dormitories (mattress dormitories), divided into four rooms, each sleeping 4, 6, 10, and 14 people. There is a cozy lounge/dining room with a stove, and to the right of the hut, a washroom and flush toilets.
