    The festivals Kaiser Wilhelm II (French also Fort de Mutzig, formerly Position de Mutzig) is a built between 1893 and the First World War about 20 km west of Strasbourg fortification in the imperial Alsace-Lorraine, which belonged from 1871 to 1918 to the German Empire. With a circumference of six kilometers, the 254-acre fortress was the largest closed fortress in the German Reich at the outbreak of the First World War.
