The pilgrim hostel on the "Loccum - Volkenroda" pilgrimage route can accommodate up to 20 pilgrims (provided there are no restrictions). Volunteer pilgrim mothers and pilgrims take care of the hostel on a weekly basis. It is open from Easter to Reformation Day on October 31. Admission is from 4 p.m. Advance booking by phone is strongly recommended: 0151-12040759. Those who arrive by 6 p.m. can take part in the daily evening prayer in the monastery church. In the hostel you can prepare your own food (or go to the "Klostermühle" for dinner. Note the rest days). The hostel is simply furnished, but there is a dry bed.
