The scramble up Grindsbrook Clough is a very popular one and is great for those starting out scrambling. It starts off relatively gentle and gets steeper and steeper as you reach the top, requiring you to use your hands in places. It can be wet at times, especially after heavy rain, so the rocks can be slippery.

This is a mega beautiful way up to the plateau. You’re basically clambering up a river. Probably not ideal in wet weather!
