Nicknamed the goat mountain, Puy Chavaroche is part of the Cantal mountains and rises to an altitude of 1736m. It is known for its large cairn where a stone is placed to leave a trace of its passage. This is the culmination of the GR400 stage between Le Fau and Mandailles.
