Tips
Over a footbridge and on a narrow path along the Große Lauter you will reach a point where the water is led over the Lauter in a side channel and fed to the power station. Then you can even cross this canal and are on the 3rd level above the Lauter and above the canal.

The Große Lautertal is a magical river landscape characterized by majestic rocks and is part of the biosphere area. At Laufenmühle there is a junction into the wildly romantic Wolfstal, which is peppered with caves and rocks. In spring you can admire the Märzenbecher blossom there.
