The Jan Matejko Monument is located on Puławska Street in Warsaw's Mokotów district. It was designed in 1989 by Marian Konieczny and made in Gliwice's Technical Equipment Plants. It was unveiled on May 3, 1994 on the initiative of the Society for the Protection of Monuments. It shows Matejko standing on a pedestal with a palette and a brush, and Stańczyk sitting at the pedestal.

Right behind the monument is a boulder - a natural monument.
