This is where the old Kronenbourg brewery stood, which has now been relocated to Obernai.
Kronenbourg SAS, formerly Brasseries Kronenbourg, is a French brewery company. The head office is in Obernai in Alsace. Founded in Strasbourg in 1664 by Jérôme Hatt, it is one of the oldest French companies. In 2014 it celebrated its 350th anniversary. It takes its name from the Strasbourg district of Cronenbourg, where the Hatt brewery was founded in the mid-19th century. Kronenbourg is the leading brewery in France with a market share of 30%; every third beer consumed in France is produced by the K2 brewery in Obernai1.
