Up the valley there is a short (approx. 300 meters) up to Kastel 'something crunchy with up to approx. 12%, coming down the valley from Fröhnd, the short ascent to Kastel is more gracious.You gain a few well-paved kilometers away from the B317, and almost parallel to the "Todtnauerli" path, which is not paved in this section.
