Kröchlendorff was first mentioned in a document in 1251. In the 14th-15th In the 19th century, robbery, murder and looting hit the villages of the Uckermark, including Kröchlendorff. Because of the atrocities, the residents left their place and founded Kröchlendorff about a kilometer southwest. The old settlement fell into disrepair and became desolate. The preserved east gable of the old church from the end of the 13th century still bears witness to this.
