A path to the Sendero Mirador (viewpoint) has the highest elevation in the park and is an ascent well prepared on concrete or wooden pathways. However, since the infrastructure in the park is improving, more and more (noisy) people come to the park. Up on the view point you have a great view and we were lucky to see the Titi-monkey as well.
For me the Playa Espadilla is the most beautiful beach of the three in the park. No wood is carry on the sea and the sand is just great. We saw white-faced capuchin monkeys, aguitis, racoons and pelicans on the beachfront. But watch you belongings as the
Monkeys steal everything away.

Sendero el Perezoso is the trail that takes you deeper in the park and the forest, so you´re able to see sloth hiding in the trees. We saw 2 and 3 fingered sloth, so it lives up to its name. But it is a little more crowded because of its famous residents.

A guided tour is perfect here. Approx. $ 45 pp
Sloths, toucans, spiders and much more. you get shown that you wouldn’t see without a guide. It is so crowded on the beaches and on the trails that you should avoid this place for other purposes. The tourists here mostly behave like "bumpkin animals" and only come to the beach because of the monkeys.
The park entrance costs $ 16 pp. The park is closed on Mondays.
