It´s part of a short loop trail, which was an island once (Punta Catedral 1.4km; 1h) and connects Playa Manuel Antonio and Playa Espadilla Sur. It´s an easy walk with incredible views of different parts of the park and the island. If there´s one trail you should hike at "Manuel Antonio" it´s this one. Definitely one of my favorite beaches in Costa Rica; the dead-end part of the trail ist mostly pretty quiet.
